Here is some general information about Jorjin's products and services:
Where are your products manufactured?
We manufacture our SiP modules and AP modules in Taiwan, with a mix of in-house and subcontracted assembly. In all cases, Jorjin supplies the automated test equipment and manages the QA/QC. We believe for modules, Taiwan has the best quality and we typically achieve greater than 99.5% yield before test. Our current capacity is over 20M wireless SiP module and over 2M Application Processor modules per year. For end devices, we have agreements in place with several suppliers, such as UMEC, IAC and Pegatron.
Are your wireless connectivity modules certified?

There are typically two types of certification: Radio Certification, such as FCC or CE and Protocol Certification such as Bluetooth SIG or WiFi Alliance certification.  Jorjin SiP modules are typically multi-function and do not have an integrated antenna or coax connector.  It is therefore not possible to certify these as our customers would need to have an identical antenna and PCB to use this.  Instead we work with a major lab in Taiwan and can offer a certification service where our engineers review your schematic and layout and manage the radio certification process.

Can Jorjin help me Develop and Manufacture my Product?

Jorjin has recently launched a joint design & manufacturing service where we manage custom design projects using our modules.  These include mobile computing, security & home automation, automotive fleet tracking and wireless audio.  We can handle the whole project on an ODM basis, manage the maufacturing only or contribute specialist knowledge on wireless or application processor.  We work to co-ordinate 3rd party software and handle external licencing and royalties.  Our manufacturing partners include Tier 1s such as Pegatron and Inventec.

Which BSP do you support for your AP Modules?

We maintain an Android baseline board support package in-house and co-ordinate with 3rd parties on linux and Windows based BSP.  Our imaging team can provide custom drivers and image processing software for our AP modules, as well as the camera modules themselves.  For WiFi, we can provide Cisco CCX compliant drivers and for Bluetooth we can provide an automotive grade 3rd party stack.

How do I join your Partner Network?

We welcome additional H/W and S/W partners who are interested to work with our module platforms to create and sell new solutions.  Please contact us for more details.
