Taiwan companies form national team to grab big orders at MWC The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) brings 16 companies to the “Taiwan Pavilion”.

MWC 2024 will be held in Barcelona, Spain from 26th to 29th February. It is expected that more than 2,400 companies and 90,000 people from over 200 countries will attend the event, and Taiwan is expected to participate in the exhibition with more than 50 companies, among which the Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) will join hands with 16 companies, such as Chunghwa Telecom, Wiwynn, AUO, and Edgecore to form a national team, and jointly debut on the MWC board with the “Taiwan Pavilion”, to snatch up the international orders.

Taiwan is regarded as the world’s leading ICT and semiconductor industry centre. This year, in addition to MediaTek, Quanta, Compal, Lite-On, Gigabyte, Acer, HTC, Asustek, Askey, etc., the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has also invited Chunghwa Telecom, Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), JORJIN, AUO, Aethertek, Moxa, Tailyn, Wiwynn, Synergy Design Tech, Yoda, Edgecore, Alpah Networks, Shinhan, ATAYA, ADLINK and Wave in to form the “Taiwan Pavilion” as a national team to present the latest R&D achievements on the international stage and to compete for international orders. The national team, in the form of the “Taiwan Pavilion”, will showcase the latest R&D achievements of Taiwan’s manufacturers on the international stage and compete for international order opportunities.
